Professional Development Courses for Teachers of Zhambyl Higher Polytechnic College in the People’s Republic of China
From December 17 to December 30, 2025, professional development courses in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are being conducted for teachers of vocational colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of international cooperation, a group of teachers from Zhambyl Higher Polytechnic College is participating in these courses and engaging in professional experience exchange at Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering (武汉软件工程职业学院), located in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China.
During the training, participants study modern artificial intelligence technologies, digital solutions, as well as effective ways to integrate them into the educational process. The training program includes both theoretical and practical sessions and is aimed at enhancing the digital competencies of participants.
This initiative significantly contributes to the professional development of college teachers, the adoption of international best practices, and the expansion of opportunities for applying artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process.
How Chinese IT universities use artificial intelligence and cooperate with the real sector of the economy. Deputy director for Information Technologies of Zhambyl Polytechnic higher college M. Aitbayeva, teachers of special disciplines of the CMC of Information Systems T. Ashimova, S. Kuralova had the opportunity to get acquainted with this direction.
As part of the Kazakh delegation of 20 people, the above – mentioned employees took two-week advanced training courses organized within the framework of the alliance of Kazakh-Chinese colleges on AI education.
The courses were held on the basis of the Institute of professional software of Wuhan Open University. The curriculum included not only review lectures, but also visits to educational institutions of IT companies such as bashka, including the Wuhan Institute of Intelligent Technology.
